Research Design and Methodology was my only traditional course during this masters program as it was in a face-to-face setting rather than online. This class gave me even more knowledge about proper research techniques and theory. Throughout the course I was tested on the material presented in class. The final project for the course was a big one, a research proposal. Using all of the information learned in the class, from APA formatting to the correct way to write a research proposal, I was required to propose the research of my choosing. In this proposal I performed a literature review and designed the research process. We were not required to perform the research because of the time restraint of the course. Overall, this was a very challenging project but it certainly helped me better understand the research process and it's importance to the field of education.
