Another short summer course, Library Networks and Databases helped me grow tremendously in my ability to research and find reliable online sources. This skill was developed through a literature review project that was designed to evaluate our ability to not only find appropriate sources, but also to review them concisely. Another major project in the course was an online tour of a library database. For my tour I chose to walk my theoretical high school students through the WorldCat website. While this was not one of my favorite courses, it definitely helped me develop my research skills, and more importantly the ability to teach students how to research properly.
