This was one of my favorite courses because the coursework was both challenging and enjoyable. The major project in this course was creating an educational website for the classroom of your choice. Because I have never been a teacher I chose to create a website for my theoretical high school leadership course. The class was challenging because I was not only creating a website, but I was also creating the course content. I was able to lean on my knowledge about how students learn, as well as content knowledge to help create a learning environment online that would be enjoyable for students. One of my favorite aspects of the project was having an actual high school student evaluate my website and give me feedback on what could be better. After the website was completed, I also created a video tour of the website for my peers to view.
